Parents guiding Parents through the reunification process

 

Peer Parent Advocates, are parents who have been involved with Child Protective Services and/or Department of Family Services in their past and had their children removed from their custody. A Peer Parent Advocate has navigated

through the system, completing every stipulation in their case plan, and successfully reunified with their children. Their role now is to guide other parents who are going through similar experiences achieve the same goal, Reunification!

Becoming involved in the system can be a very overwhelming experience, and is even harder to go through alone. Peer Parents have stood in your shoes, understand what you are going through, and are ready to advocate for families in

need.

Job search assistance

Bus Passes

System navigation

Moral support and Encouragement

CFT appearances & Advocacy

Resume building

Emergency food assistance
