Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center delivers services that promote self-esteem, build confidence and encourage well-being. Services and programs are designed to meet the needs of the surrounding neighborhood. We believe that by helping to build stronger families, we are building a stronger community.
Senior Respite
Able to help older people and people with disabilities, along with their families and caregivers, to find services and resources to keep living well and independently.
Differential Response
A team that works together with Clark County Child Protective Services (CPS) to assess families who are in need of community support and assistance.
Peer Parent Program
Peer Parent Advocates are parents who have been involved with Child Protective Services and/or Department of Family Services in their past and had their children removed from their custody and then successfully reunified with their children.

VGK Foundation Awards $300,000 in Grants to Local Charities
VEGAS (June 26, 2024) – The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation announced today, June 26, the recipients of its 2024 grants, which will provide a record $300,000 to 25 organizations in the Las Vegas Valley. In addition, the Henderson Silver Knights Foundation has awarded grants to six organizations, totaling $45,000.

HENDERSON (KSNV) — A local nonprofit is helping families get the chance to reunite.
In Henderson, the East Valley Family Services honored graduates of its Peer Parent Advocate Program.
Golden Groceries program tackles senior hunger in Las Vegas valley
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — More than 35,000 Nevadans aged 60 and older are food insecure. Most of those people live in Las Vegas and struggle to make ends meet. Fortunately, one program is making sure they don’t go hungry.
East Valley Family Services provides essential food to seniors through its Golden Groceries program. Once a month, seniors in need are given bread, vegetables, and canned goods. At the food pick-up, seniors are also given a complimentary breakfast. Typically, 150 seniors show up at the monthly event.
Reunited families spend afternoon at Dave & Buster’s
Melissa and Christopher Walker were separated from their three children in September 2022. In February, they were reunited with their three young boys.
The pair are a Peer Parent Advocate success story. But Friday was full of success stories as the Peer Parent Advocate program celebrated eight reunited families at Dave & Buster’s over arcade food and marble cake.
