Peer Parent Advocate Program
Parents guiding Parents through the reunification process.
Peer Parent Advocates are parents who have been involved with Child Protective Services (CPS) and/or Department of Family Services in their past and had their child(ren) removed from their custody. A Peer Parent Advocates has navigated through the system and successfully reunified with their child(ren). Their role now is to guide other parents who are going through similar experiences achieve the same goal, to change patterns of learned behavior, in order to REUNIFY! Becoming involved in the system can be a very overwhelming experience and is even harder to go through alone. Peer Parents have stood in their shoes, understand what they are going through and are ready to advocate for families in need.

- Moral Support & Encourangement
- Resume Building
- Specialized Parenting for Clients in Recovery
- Community Resource Referrals
- Job Search Assistance
- System Navigation
- CFT Appearances & Advocacy
- Emergency Food Assistance
- Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (PRSS)
- Family Treatment Court Mentorship (Drug Court)
- Family Court Appearances
